A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg area, serving early childhood or elementary caseloads. This contract position covers the entire school year and requires a valid Pennsylvania license. Ideal candidates will have experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) practitioners.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary school caseloads
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary school teams
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students with identified needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Location: Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg, PA
