A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting K-12 students in Easton, MD. This role involves providing therapeutic services to students at both elementary and middle school levels within a supportive educational environment. The position spans the current school year through June 10, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, including both in-person and teletherapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress, document treatment outcomes, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Support communication development in students with diverse speech and language needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maryland state license in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Experience working with children in school settings is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in providing teletherapy services is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Location:
- Services will be provided at Warwick Elementary School and North Dorchester Middle School within Dorchester County Public Schools.
