Speech Pathology - East Lansing, MI
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in East Lansing, MI, serving a K-4th grade student caseload within a school setting. This contract position begins on August 17, 2026, and concludes on November 20, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions focused on student success.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Candidates must have previous experience working with school-aged children, specifically in a K-4 school setting.
- No Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) will be considered.
