Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Columbus, Ohio

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, starting in January and concluding on May 28, 2026. This role is based in Columbus, OH, within a K-12 educational setting and is offered on a contract basis.
Ideal candidates will have expertise in delivering speech and language services across multiple settings, including school environments and healthcare facilities. Experience with pediatric populations and teletherapy techniques is essential, as is the completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those newly credentialed. Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology will find their qualifications well-aligned with this position.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with completed CFY
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience working in school-based programs, including K-12 settings
- Ability to provide pediatric speech-language services
- Proficiency in teletherapy methodologies
- Familiarity with healthcare-related speech-language pathology
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy when appropriate to deliver quality speech-language services
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory guidelines
