Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY may be considered
- School-based or pediatric experience desired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultation, support, and resources for classroom educators
