Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist Temporary Assignment (Dover, PA)

We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Dover, PA. This position is to cover a maternity leave from August 25 to December 1, 2025 (~13 weeks) and can be either full-time or part-time. The caseload serves K–5 elementary students in regular education and learning support classrooms.

Requirements

Must hold an active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate

Must hold an active Pennsylvania SLP license

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students

Support IEP goals and track student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student needs

Maintain accurate records and documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring

Implement strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom

Hourly pay: $40–$60 (based on experience)
