Position Details:
- Location: Middletown, DE
- School Level: K-12, grades to be determined
- Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Duration: Contract through the current school year, ending June 12, 2026
- On-site presence preferred with potential for hybrid work arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in team meetings and parent conferences
- Collect and analyze progress-monitoring data to inform therapy adjustments
- Complete detailed therapy notes and documentation using Data Service Center and Power School IEP software
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathology licensure/certification (verification required)
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within schools K-12 preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education processes
- Proficiency in Data Service Center and Power School IEP or similar systems
- Bilingual skills considered a plus
