Full-Time Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Near Ocean City, MD

Location: Near Ocean City, MD Discipline: Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Dates: New School Year (NSY) 2025-2026 Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week) Multiple age groups and caseloads available.
About the Opportunity:
Our partnering district is committed to providing excellent support for its staff and a nurturing environment for its students. As a full-time contract SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students of various age groups. The district has a variety of needs, offering the potential for diverse caseload experiences.
Job Duties May Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that address students' communication goals.
- Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure integrated student support.
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate and compliant documentation, and participating in IEP meetings.
- Consulting with school staff to develop and implement strategies for improving communication skills within the classroom and school environment.
Special Requirements:
- Active professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Maryland is required.
Compensation:
For this contract position, the average hourly rate is $40-$55 based on experience.
