Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students at a single campus near Douglasville, GA, as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You'll impact middle and high school students, with a caseload ranging from 45 to 55, and will collaborate with dedicated educational professionals. This on-site role provides a dynamic school-based environment, and requires full-time commitment from late July 2026 through May 2027.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia PSC certification (new requirement)
- Active professional state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working in school settings, especially with adolescents, is strongly preferred
- Ability to complete all required credentialing, including fingerprints and drug screening, ahead of start date
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Please note: SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of middle and high school students at one campus
- Evaluate students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support students' academic and functional success
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and compliant documentation
- Participate in eligibility, staffing, and IEP meetings as needed
- Actively contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture
