Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within school settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven recommendations
- Provide direct and consultative services to support student success across K-12 settings
- Document services and progress thoroughly in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, student-centered environment
