Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Michigan state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
- Compassionate communication and collaboration skills
Role Highlights:
- Take charge of an elementary caseload across multiple buildings, with opportunities in both single building and multi-site placements, serving 47–50 students per assignment
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions tailored to student IEPs
- Lead therapy sessions in group and individual formats, adjusting to students’ unique needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop progress reports
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
- Support one Functional Classroom for Intensive Support (FCIS), addressing the most complex needs for a cohort of dedicated students
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant school regulations
