School Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan
An onsite part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Detroit, MI. This contract role will support an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting, providing specialized speech and language services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active SLP license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary-aged children and ASD populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of around 25 students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and support interventions within the educational environment.
Work Schedule and Details:
- Part-time schedule, approximately 22 hours per week (3 days weekly).
- Contract duration from ASAP until 6/11/2026.
- Position requires onsite presence at the school location.
