Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services in a K-12 school setting located in Detroit, MI. This contract position is available for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work directly with students to support their communication and language development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized plans for students
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions for a diverse student population
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for school settings
- Experience providing speech therapy services in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation
