A specialized role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a Detroit, MI school setting. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Strong caseload management, with a focus on individualized student goals
Location:
- Detroit, Michigan
- Serving elementary students in grades K-5
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45-55 students requiring speech and language therapy
- Provide assessments, individualized treatment plans, and intervention sessions aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
