We are actively seeking a full-time, onsite SLP-CFY to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in the vibrant Detroit, Michigan area. We have K-12 openings, offering you the chance to work with diverse student populations across various grade levels. We are committed to providing a supportive environment with comprehensive supervision designed to help you excel and achieve your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments under supervision, interpreting results and contributing to evaluation reports.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other school personnel to integrate communication goals into the educational setting.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and IEPs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and learning from experienced team members.
- Adapt therapy activities and strategies to suit the developmental stages and diverse needs of students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Actively engage in weekly supervision sessions, seeking guidance and feedback to enhance clinical skills and meet CFY requirements.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) status in Michigan.
- Michigan state licensure or temporary licensure for CFY is REQUIRED prior to start date.
- Michigan Teaching Certificate is highly preferred, or willingness to obtain one as per Michigan Department of Education requirements for school-based SLPs (guidance will be provided).
- Strong foundational knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to continuous learning.
