For the 2025–2026 school year, we are seeking CCC-SLPs (Speech-Language Pathologists) to fill multiple hybrid evaluation-based floater positions in DeSoto, Texas. These flexible roles are ideal for clinicians who thrive in varied environments and are interested in both onsite and remote service delivery. All schools are within a 2-mile radius, minimizing travel between sites.
Position Summary

Assignment Type: Full-time or part-time evaluation coverage

Caseload: Evaluation-focused across multiple school sites (PreK–12)

Work Environment: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Start Date: 2025–2026 school year

Required Credentials: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and Texas state licensure
Responsibilities
-
Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with IEP requirements
-
Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services
-
Collaborate with staff, special education teams, and families
-
Travel between campuses as needed (all within 2 miles)

Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district standards
-
Contribute to the development of effective and individualized communication goals
Qualifications
-
Valid Texas SLP license
-
ASHA CCC certification
-
Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong evaluation and reporting skills

Ability to manage a flexible schedule and work independently

Comfort with hybrid (in-person/remote) service delivery
