Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elgin, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elgin, IL, serving two schools with a combined caseload of 45-50 students. This contract position offers the flexibility to be split between two qualified professionals, ideal for those seeking a part-time schedule while supporting a diverse pediatric population.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language services, preferably in school and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a strong plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Ability to manage and treat a caseload effectively in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized speech and language therapy to students across two schools
- Conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring progress
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student success
- Utilizing teletherapy tools as needed to enhance service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all regulatory and district guidelines
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:42 AM – 3:45 PM
- Wednesday: 7:42 AM – 3:15 PM (flexibility available on Wednesday hours)
