Speech-Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Previous experience as an SLP in a school setting
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- Dedication to working on-site to provide direct assessment and intervention
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Maintain comprehensive records of progress and comply with all district requirements
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, special ed staff, and families to support classroom integration
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development initiatives
- Support students across PreK–8th grades in their academic and interpersonal success
