A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support in a school setting located in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time, contract position requires fluency in Spanish and proficiency working with pediatric populations from PreK through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for bilingual students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Deliver in-person services within the charter school network covering multiple locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification, including CCC or school-based credentials.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
- Experience working with children in educational environments, preferably PreK-8.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering culturally responsive services.
