Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Des Plaines, IL. The SLP will play a key role in supporting students’ communication and language development to promote success in academic and social settings. This position involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet each student’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the language development of students across a variety of settings.

Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs.

Collect and analyze data to monitor and evaluate student progress on IEP goals.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with IEP team members, teachers, administrators, and parents.

Complete speech and language evaluations and prepare professional reports as required.

Maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines for service delivery and documentation.
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
