Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, Current School Year Contract
Compensation: Monolingual: $53-$62 an Hour, Bilingual: $56-$66 an Hour

Position Overview:
The SLP will work with students across grade levels, providing both direct therapy and consultative support. This role requires a compassionate professional who thrives in school-based settings and values the importance of communication in student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families

Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
-
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support student outcomes
Minimum Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFs considered with supervision

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
