Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll be a key member of the school’s student services team, working to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will create individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to help students develop effective communication skills. Your expertise will help shape not just speech development, but the overall confidence and academic success of your students.
Illinois Requirements:
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a current Illinois SLP license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. A Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement is also required to work in public school settings. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred. All candidates must pass background checks and meet district compliance guidelines.
