A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school located in Andover, KS. This contract position supports an active caseload of 40 students, delivering approximately 1470 minutes of speech-language therapy weekly. The assignment runs from March 2026 through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently while providing high-quality therapy.
