Essential Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and parents
- Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students as needed
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify areas of need
- Develop therapy goals and deliver direct treatment, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and personal development
- Maintain timely, accurate student records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as a knowledgeable team member
- Provide consultative support, resources, and strategies to teachers and staff for classroom integration
