A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a Northern Denver suburban school district, serving Pre-K through 6th-grade students. This full-time role involves supporting approximately 40 students on your caseload, including a mix of mild to severe speech and language needs. The position is located at an elementary school focused on providing speech services for a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, direct services, and maintain service documentation.
- Manage caseloads including case management responsibilities for students with speech-only IEPs.
- Provide monthly speech minutes.
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student communication development.
- Supervision available for SLP Clinical Fellows.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification, with current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Experience working with students with a range of speech and language severity levels is preferred.
- New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
- Note: SLP Assistants and VOCO/hybrid models are not accepted by the district.
Interview Process:
- Initial 15-30 minute screening via Teams with the director of integrated services.
- Follow-up 30-45 minute panel interview, preferably in person but flexible for remote candidates.
- Interviews are typically scheduled on Mondays and Fridays.
