Speech and Language Pathologist - Denver, CO
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a smaller school district located in the northern suburbs of Denver, CO. Location: Denver, Colorado (Adventure Elementary School, 7725 Conifer Road)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, direct speech-language therapy services, and complete service documentation for students in grades Pre-K through 6th.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with a range of mild to severe speech and language needs.
- Serve as case manager for students whose IEPs include speech services only.
- Deliver monthly speech therapy minutes according to IEP requirements.
- Ensure compliance with district standards and coordinate with other education staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Speech-Language Pathologist credential. Candidates must provide current CDE credentials or status updates on the credentialing process.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory for this role.
- Candidates holding Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are eligible, and the district can provide required supervision.
- Experience working in educational settings is preferred.
- The district does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or hybrid roles.
Interview Process:
- Initial screening interview conducted via Teams with the Director of Integrated Services (15-30 minutes).
- Panel interview typically held in person (30-45 minutes), with flexibility for remote participation.

- The district does not contract nursing staff or accept VOCO/hybrid employment.
- Candidates actively relocating or in the process of credentialing are encouraged to communicate their status when applying.
