A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support a Pre-K program within an early childhood center. This full-time, contracted role offers a schedule of 35 hours per week, working five days each week during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to children in a Pre-K program, focusing on early intervention and developmental speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric clients
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with program requirements and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development within the early childhood setting
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based or healthcare pediatric settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and speech-language disorders
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
