A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide assessment services for early childhood students in the Denver, CO area. This position focuses exclusively on evaluation and assessment of pre-kindergarten children and does not include treatment responsibilities. The role offers approximately 11.25 hours per week, spread across 1.5 days, for a full school year from January 2026 through June.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for early childhood learners.
  • Manage caseload using a workload model tailored to varied disabilities.
  • Document findings in clear, concise reports following district and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant certification and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure; candidates with interim certifications or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status are eligible.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse early childhood populations.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and assessment protocols.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during part-time hours.

  • Position based near Denver, CO, approximately 30 minutes northwest of the city in an early childhood educational setting.
