Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $49-$56
Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1800 - $2100

Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties

Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills to identify needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
-
Provide direct therapy services to support students in developing communication and social skills
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
-
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring to ensure effective outcomes
-
Train and consult with staff and parents on strategies to support speech and language development

Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance with state and district requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
Federal and State Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Current Colorado state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered
-
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws
-
Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Colorado school districts
