Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Denver, CO
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a reputable school district in the Denver, CO area. This is a full-time, school-based position offering competitive compensation, professional support, and the opportunity to help students improve their communication skills and overall academic success.

Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $49-$56
Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1800 - $2100

Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills to identify needs

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

  • Provide direct therapy services to support students in developing communication and social skills

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring to ensure effective outcomes

  • Train and consult with staff and parents on strategies to support speech and language development

  • Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance with state and district requirements, and participate in IEP meetings

Federal and State Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Colorado state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered

  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

  • Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Colorado school districts
