Speech Pathology - Apopka, FL
A reputable K-12 school district in Florida is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity offers positions ranging from full-time to part-time, with some roles potentially requiring itinerant work to serve multiple campuses.
Location: Apopka, FL
Start Date: Immediate – January 2, 2025
End Date: May 29, 2026
Schedule: Full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time options available (approx. 25 hours/week)
Setting: On-site with some possibility of hybrid arrangements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services K-12, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies and state regulations
- Serve students at multiple campuses as needed, especially for part-time or itinerant roles
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
