Provide specialized speech-language pathology services as an itinerant clinician supporting multiple private K-12 schools in the Apopka, FL area. This full-time contract position involves working directly on-site within private educational settings, delivering therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Serve multiple private schools, including Catholic and Christian academies, ensuring consistent and high-quality therapy services.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress regularly with school personnel.
Qualifications:
- Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) through ASHA.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.
- Experience working with students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across several school sites.
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong communication skills.
