School Speech Language Pathologist - Elgin, Texas
A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position serving an elementary school in Bastrop, TX. This hybrid role requires 37.5 hours per week with a schedule of three days onsite and two days remote, offering a balance of in-person collaboration and flexible work from home.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering speech and language testing, and preparing detailed evaluation reports. The delivery of direct therapy services will also be part of the role, supporting students’ communication needs in both English and Spanish. This position emphasizes a strong commitment to bilingual service delivery, helping to bridge language gaps and support diverse learners in an educational setting.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP credentials with state licensure or eligibility
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with experience in bilingual evaluations and therapy
- Knowledge of best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology within schools
- Skilled in administering speech and language assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseload documentation and therapy planning
