ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position located in Decatur, TN. Position Overview
This opportunity involves providing speech and language therapy services to students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. The selected candidate will work on-site one day per week, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support necessary to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress.

Develop, implement, and manage IEP goals and treatment plans.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services rendered.

Collaborate closely with general and special education staff to integrate speech services into the classroom setting.

Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to foster strong support systems.
Candidate Qualifications
Required:

Active Tennessee state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

ASHA Certification (for SLPs) preferred

Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred

Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and special education services

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload efficiently
Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: One consistent day per week (flexible based on your availability and school needs)

Location: On-site at a public school in Decatur, TN

Caseload: Pre-K through 5th grade students with a range of speech and language needs

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and licensure type; travel reimbursements may be available for eligible candidates
