Speech Therapist in Decatur, GA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Decatur, GA. This role requires providing direct therapy services within a school setting, working with students across the K-12 spectrum. Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for Georgia
- Valid Georgia Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Experience providing direct therapy services to school-aged children (K-12)
- Commitment to work full-time hours on-site, with no hybrid or remote options
- Not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student evaluations
- Comply with all school district policies and state regulations surrounding therapy services
Location & Assignment Details:
- Based onsite in the Decatur, GA area at a designated K-12 school
- Specific school placement to be determined upon hire
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, with an anticipated contract end date in late May 2026
