Pediatric School-Based SLP | Athens, Alabama
A temporary speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide maternity leave coverage at a school setting in Athens, AL. This contract role runs from April to May with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The focus will be on supporting preschool-aged children, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct speech and language therapy services to young learners, utilizing teletherapy techniques when necessary, and collaborating with educators and healthcare professionals to develop effective individualized treatment plans. This role requires proficiency across pediatric speech-language pathology in schools, clinical fellowship year experience, and certification of clinical competence (CCC) in SLP.
Qualifications and skills:

- Experience working with preschool-aged children

- Successful completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
