Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Madison, AL, for the 2025–2026 school year. The SLP will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic success and overall development. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about making a positive difference in students’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide direct therapy services for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Offer indirect services including teacher collaboration, consultation, and progress monitoring.

Document therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current Alabama SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).

Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours/week

Typical school hours: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM

Contract: August 2025 – May 2026

Approximately 40–50 students
