An opportunity is available for a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours and focuses on delivering both direct and indirect speech-language therapy remotely during traditional school hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual speech and language assessments and interventions for elementary-aged students
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing indirect services such as consultation, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with educational and therapy standards
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children in a speech-language pathology role
- Competency in delivering virtual therapy sessions and using telepractice platforms
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational teams
- Knowledge of best practices in speech-language intervention and assessment
