School Speech Language Pathologist - Dearborn, Michigan

A full-semester Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in the Dearborn, MI area. This contract position offers a rewarding chance to support students’ communication development across a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adhere to Michigan licensure standards and stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates with SLP Clinical Fellowship status (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively onsite within a school community
- Flexibility to accommodate full-time hours (37.5 per week) with consideration for part-time candidates
Location and Duration:
- Position located onsite in Dearborn, MI
- Full-semester contract beginning as soon as possible through June 5, 2026
