This position is for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in a school environment located in Dearborn, MI. Opportunities for full-time or part-time employment are available, with a focus on elementary students and participation in the evaluation team. The role follows a contract for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessment and therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 students
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Participate actively in evaluation teams to determine student eligibility and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver services primarily onsite with one day per week remote work
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology Licensure (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered an asset
- Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings, especially elementary level
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Work Schedule:
- 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
- Four days onsite, one day remote work
