Speech Language Pathologist in Napa, CA
Providing Speech-Language Pathology services for a K-12 school environment, this role focuses on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students with speech and language development needs. The position is a contract opportunity running for the 2026-2027 school year, offering direct, onsite support within a dedicated educational setting in Napa, CA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborating closely with teachers and educational staff to integrate speech-language goals with classroom activities
- Managing a caseload of approximately 25-35 early childhood students (PreK and Kindergarten)
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports to track student improvement
- Ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal educational guidelines and regulations
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is highly desirable
- Experience working with children in school-based settings, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
