Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity – Danville, IL
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Danville, IL to fill a full-time, school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) contract position for the upcoming school year. This role will serve a 5th and 6th grade caseload, providing essential speech and language services to students in need.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
-
Provide direct therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor and support student progress
-
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state reporting requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
-
Support students with a range of speech and language impairments, including articulation, fluency, and receptive/expressive language disorders
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid Illinois SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements for working in a school setting
-
Previous experience with school-aged children and special education populations is highly preferred
