Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School
Location: Danbury, CT
Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract role in Danbury, CT. This position will focus on serving students in an elementary school setting. Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance while on contract.
Position Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathology in Connecticut

ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience working with special education students and families is highly valued
-
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Typical Job Duties:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with IDEA
-
Provide direct therapy services individually and in small group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
-
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
