School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Danbury, CT
Setting: Onsite, Elementary School
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 32 hours/week
Caseload: ~50 students

Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will help elementary students strengthen their communication skills, supporting both academic achievement and personal growth.
Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff.

Conduct screenings, evaluate progress, and adjust therapy as needed.

Provide therapy in individual and group settings, both direct and consultative.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social success.

Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Connecticut state licensure as an SLP with DOE Certification

Previous School experience preferred
