About the Position:

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultative services

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to meet student needs

Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Maine licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP

Certification from Maine Department of Education (Speech & Language Clinician endorsement) or ability to obtain

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required
