Speech-Language Pathologist in San Francisco, CA
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in San Francisco, CA, serving a dynamic student population from early childhood through transition years. This contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 2, 2027, with full-time hours at 37.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across various grade levels and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to district and regulatory standards.
- Provide developmental and therapeutic support within a school setting.
- For Clinical Fellows (CFs), supervision will be provided for building-specific placements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
- Clear/Professional Speech Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required.
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with caseloads spanning early childhood to transition age.
- Preference for candidates fluent in additional languages to better serve diverse student populations.
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply with supervision arrangements in place.
- Commitment to onsite work; remote or voiceover positions are not available for this role.
