Position Details:
- Location: Dallas, TX (Lewisville area)
- School Levels: Elementary (K–5), Middle School, High School
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), part-time considered
- Contract Duration: School Year
- Onsite work required
Openings and Caseloads:
- Elementary Schools (Old Settlers and Southridge): Serve 48 total students (40 at Old Settlers, 8 at Southridge), covering a maternity leave from ASAP to March 31
- Durham Middle School: Caseload of 65 students, position open ASAP through May 22
- Hebron High School/Hebron 9: Caseload of 85 students, position open ASAP through May 22
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Preferred certification: SLP-CCC
- Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome with prior supervision arrangements as the district does not provide supervision
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student success
- Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines for therapy services
This role requires candidates to align with specific school locations based on their residence and work onsite during contracted terms.
