School Speech Language Pathologist - Desoto, Texas
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve students in grades K-12 within a school setting in Desoto, TX. This contract position is onsite at a high school and runs through the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities for this role include conducting speech and language evaluations, providing direct therapy services, and managing individual case plans for students. The SLP will collaborate with educational teams to support student communication needs and ensure compliance with relevant educational and clinical standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience working as an SLP within a school setting, preferably covering K-12 students.
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and delivering therapy for diverse communication disorders.
- Ability to manage caseload, document sessions, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
