Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dallas, TX

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide full-time support for two maternity leave coverage assignments in an elementary school setting in Dallas, TX. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and development across multiple grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and intervention for students from PreK through 5th grade
- Manage caseloads of approximately 53, 48, and 8 students across three elementary campuses
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver services on-site, including two half days at an additional campus
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Preference for candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) status must have supervision arranged prior to starting, as the district cannot provide supervision
- Prior experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple caseloads efficiently
Work Details:
- Location: Dallas, TX (specific campuses include Independence Elementary, Old Settlers Elementary, and Southridge Elementary)
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: current school year (CSY), starting ASAP to cover maternity leaves until early April
- Onsite position only
