School Speech Language Pathologist - Lewisville, Texas
A Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide support for two maternity leave coverage periods within an elementary school setting in Lewisville, TX. This contract role spans the current school year, offering an opportunity to work closely with young learners from PreK through 5th grade across multiple campuses.
Responsibilities include managing caseloads at the following elementary schools:
- Independence Elementary: Approximately 53 students, PreK–3rd grade (immediate start until January)
- Old Settlers Elementary: Approximately 40 students, K–5th grade (January through early April)
- Southridge Elementary: Approximately 8 students, K–5th grade (two half days per week)
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Preferably holding an SLP-CCC certification
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome with prior supervision arrangements established before starting, as the district cannot provide supervision
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to deliver services across multiple school locations efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This is an onsite position requiring full-time availability at designated campuses in Lewisville, TX. Candidates should ensure they can commute to the specific school sites as assigned.
