Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based SLP roles and familiarity with IEP processes
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for K-12 students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to establish rapport with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Provide targeted therapy to individuals and small groups according to IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to support students’ progress
- Develop, manage, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide input on student needs
- Support inclusive practices and strategies to enhance accessibility
